Belview Port, managed by the Port of Waterford, is on the north side of the River Suir in Gorteens, Co Kilkenny. The wharf is 500 mtr long and is used for handling containers. The structure comprises a reinforced concrete deck slab supported on four reinforced concrete beams supported on tubular steel piles 610 or 660 mm diameter. Cracks and spalling have occurred on the support beams most notably along the Container Terminal. Our contract is to erect access to the sides and soffit of the wharf, repair the concrete defects and blast clean and paint the tops of the tubular steel piles. Work commenced July 2018 and will finish in Nov 2018
